The Newcastle Tree Services team have carried out lots of tree work in the North East this week following high winds on Tuesday evening.

Broken branches and uprooted trees can cause serious damage to people, animals and property.

There are some obvious signs of tree instability to look out for such as leaning to one side, cracked soil around the base of the tree, exposed roots. Other signs of potential instability includes the presence of fungus around the trunk base as this could indicate decaying roots.
